Tara Orifici, Referral Coordinator

Tara Orifici is our referral coordinator. She’s the point person that helps guide our clients through the referral procedure. She schedules and maintains the specialist schedule and is the liaison with the referring veterinarian to ensure that all pertinent medical information is provided for the initial consultation. She’s great at putting our clients at ease when they call about a special procedure that their pet might need.

“I maintain a positive and upbeat attitude,” said Tara. “I am definitely a people person.” Tara has been with Hudson Highlands since February of 2005. “I love the fact that Hudson Highlands is a large progressive hospital but keeps the warmth and comfort you would expect from a small hometown practice,” Tara said. “Also the staff is fantastic, which makes it more like family than co-workers.”

She and her husband have two dogs, Winston and Willow, When she’s not spending time with her husband and their dogs, Tara can be found in the kitchen trying out new recipes, or in her garden.
